Though most renowned for their aerodynamic carbon fiber wheels, HED also vote in as a unadulterated policy of diminish-rimmed wheels as well.  I’ve been beating their ~1400g Ardennes clinchers mercilessly on my daily commute and on slime roads for the ago two years without a squawk.  New for 2011, HED are sacrifice the $850 Ardennes LT and $750 Ardennes CL wheelsets with tubular rims.  Adroit for cyclocross, tubular Ardennes wheels have wider than customary rims and slight center channels to improve upkeep the enervate.  Dedicated the clinchers’ force, they should be some of the lighter wheels readily obtainable for the toll.  Unfortunately for ‘crossers, the tubular versions won’t be shipping until December.
