The rite of "branding" bike parts as the artefact of one callers, while everyone knows they're made by someone else is tawdry. Whether it's NIKE putting their logo on shoes made by someone else or Campagnolo "BORA" stickers on these wheels, is anyone absolutely fooled? If Pippo wins the WORLDS using those wheels and Campagnolo runs a big ad touting his use of their "BORA" wheelset to farther ahead the rainbow jersey, everyone should cry Vile because at that point up they would be misleading the custom and making artificial claims. If he does win I make up they'll be stylish enough not to leave a employ concentration to the wheels with more than a photo. How often has a racecourse been won on a bike in fact made by a trifling builder in Italy with a sticker on the downtube from a big bike firm? Too often, but unhappily it's the same way with golf clubs, tennis rackets. etc. Advertising is cute much unregulated so anyone who believes claims made in them without any quest can certainly be misled.
